Hello!

I just noticed that I have not posted my last year’s Disney trip to Florida LOL. So I’m just going to share the journey now because otherwise I might forget about it (again) *sigh.
So,
My parents and my little brother came to visit us here in New York early 2016 and we decided to visit Disney World. WEEEHOOOO
Who doesn’t love to go to Disney right? I have always loved to go to Disneyland since I was a little kid and the love keeps going strong (although I’m now 30 haha).
Anyways, here is a story of our family trip to Disney World in Florida back in 2016:
The Flight
Jet Blue Airways

Whenever I fly within US, I always take Jet Blue Airways and have been doing that for the past 7 years. First is because their color is blue and it just seems “promising” (color psychology alert! hahaha) and second is obviously, they have good price and I love it that Jet Blue has bundle package (other airlines might have it too but so far I love Jet Blue’s bundle). For this trip, I couldn’t remember exactly but we pretty much spent (on JetBlue bundle) around $4000,- for airplane tickets of 5 adults and 1 toddler and 1 hotel (family) room for 5 days & 4 nights (in addition to the bundle of airplane tickets and hotel, we spent about $1500,- more or less for 3-day 1 park admission to Disney World for 6 people). It’s a pretty good price right?
The Hotel
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
My favorite hotel in whole wide world! I loved the design (who doesn’t?) and the room (we got “CARS” room) and the best part was the outdoor decorations. I mean, it felt like you were living in literally Disney World. So so in love with the hotel. It was just perfect for a die hard Disney fans like myself 😀
The Hotel Lobby

The Hotel’s Disney Store (obviously)

The Hotel’s Food Court
I gotta be honest here though that the food at the food court was just ok. Nothing spectacular, but the pizza was pretty yummy.

The Hotel’s Game Room (fun!)
The Hotel’s Outdoor “Cars” Design (in love with it)

Day 1 – Disney Springs / Downtown Disney
We arrived in Orlando in the afternoon so we did not go to Disney Park directly. We had one day to do whatever before Disney Parks and so after checked in, we decided to visit downtown Disney for dinner. Downtown Disney was lovely, I was so in love with it and there is a huge Disney store there, which drove me nuts, and restaurants (and Lego store 🙂 ). Unfortunately, it was raining that night 😦 but at least, we still got to ride the Merry-go-round, had dinner at Wolfgang puck express, had brownie at Ghirardelli shop, and went to Disney store.

Day 2 – Disney Park “Epcot”
Still a rainy day – so we did not take a lot of pictures since it was raining the whole day 😦 but we had fun still though 🙂

Day 3 – Disney Park “Magic Kingdom”
No more rainy days woohoooo.. Simply the perfect time for the happiest place on earth, Disney Magic Kingdom!!

And..to wrap up the night, it was time for FIREWORKS!!
Unfortunately, my phone died right before the fireworks started; sad sad sad! I’m pretty sure my husband has the photos of it in his camera but you know what, he’s this kind of person who loves photography and own a pretty nice camera and yet, whatever he captures, apparently stays in the camera LOL ( I hope he does not read this, otherwise his curly lips would curl even more HAHAHA).
But worry not (trying to be wise like Yoda 😀 ), I have the fireworks picture from our last trip to Disneyland in California early this year (pretty sure the fireworks is quite similar) so bear with me a little bit until I post my LA and Disney trip. Thank you 🙂
Day 4 – Disney Park “Magic Kingdom”
So we had another day to spend at Disney and we decided to go back to Magic Kingdom because we haven’t seen everything (and perhaps this simply means we have to come back to Orlando for the other two parks haha – well, hopefully we would be able to go early next year (2018) but we’ll see.

While waiting for the boat ride – I forgot the name but the boat was beautiful 🙂

Day 4 – Going back to New York
Before we head back to New York, we took some photos at the hotel because the Disney Art or Animation hotel has more than just “cars” theme (e.g., little mermaid, lion king, and demo) and they are all uber cute!! We did not take photos of the “nemo” theme though because we were running late already lol.
Okay guys, that is it for my last year’s trip to Disney World. Hopefully, we would go back there soon because we just love going to Disneyland!! I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Much love,
SUADA XOXO
