Aloha! (currently bored with hello)

On Saturday night two weeks ago I went to try The Smith for dinner. I heard that the place is great and the food is awesome so I thought I should give it a try.
The smith has several locations but that night I went to their midtown location (956 2nd ave – at 51st st). My impression of the place is indeed pleasant; the restaurant is big and the interior is really nicely done (not to mention their super cute unisex restroom with a photobox inside). The ambience is nice and service was good as well. Overall, I love everything about the place but the best thing about The Smith is obviously their food!
I ordered Ricotta Gnocchi ($23) and it was one of the best Gnocchi I have ever tried — so far. Unlike the usual Gnocchi, The Smith’s Ricotta Gnochi is a bit bigger and I’m not sure but I think they baked/cooked the Gnocchi a little longer so it’s a bit burnt on the outside, which makes the gnocchi superb – really delicious! Next time though, I will order the Gnocchi in appetizer size because i want to try their famous mac and cheese as well – and their looking-so-delicious dessert (gotta save some space for them in my stomach LOL). Also, I ordered fries ($6) for my boy and my hubby ordered Brick Pressed Chicken ($24). Both are so delicious as well (even the fries is good 😀 ).
Oh well.. Here are the photos. Enjoy!

That’s it for now. Hope you guys enjoyed my photos. For more information on the smith kindly check out their website at http://www.thesmithrestaurant.com and follow their instagram @thesmithnyc
